Transition Events Important Information heading here
Transitions Events are short briefings to facilitate information sharing between early years providers and schools. The aim is to improve children’s transition experience as they start school in September 2020. These events are held so you can discuss ALL children moving on to school. Children who may need this additional support can also be discussed or time booked directly with the school.
Please book into a session nearest to you. Once school places have been allocated, we will assign meeting times within the session between the school and the setting.
Additional information and dates can be found on the Transition Events web page. To book, search for ‘Transition Event’ on the Learning and Development Gateway. Transitions Events are free to attend.
As these events will be covered by the Privacy Notice, confidential conversations can take place in the open environment of the event. As professionals please respect confidentiality at all times. Please ensure you have shared this notice with parents before the events take place, you would have already done this if the children are claiming Free Entitlement.
