1. Spring term Free Entitlement actuals – closes midnight tonight

This is a reminder that the Online Provider Portal (OPP) closes at midnight tonight (Wednesday 30 January 2019) for Autumn term Free Entitlement (FE) actuals claims.

Important: In order to meet our statutory census return deadline, we will be unable to process any claims which miss this deadline for children who are in attendance during Headcount week.

Please refer to previous broadcasts for further information. If you have any queries please email free.entitlement@westsussex.gov.uk

2. Early Years Course Bookings – Action required

Following our recent consultation, West Sussex Early Years Training has decided to upgrade our course booking system from the Online Provider Portal to the WSCC Learning and Development Gateway. We are taking this action because the Gateway offers users enhanced services such as:

  • Fully automated booking administration and payments
  • Course text alerts
  • Notification of Courses tailored to your interests and needs
  • Automated Evaluation and Certification
  • Printable record of your CPD training

The effective date for the switchover is 1st February.

We are working hard to make this transition as smooth as possible by adding all our courses on to the Gateway. In order to support this change we need you to create a Gateway Account if you don’t already have one. This is a very simple process but essential to transferring your booking to the new system. The Learning Gateway homepage can be found by clicking on this link: www.westsussexcpd.co.uk.  Please follow the steps outlined under Request a New Account.

When you have your new account you will be able to transfer your course booking over. We have sent you an email with instructions on how to do this.

We would like to reassure you that there are no other changes to the course you have booked, it’s still at the same time and place. It’s just the system of administration that has changed.

Thank you for your cooperation with this. If you have any questions about creating your new account please email: learninganddevelopment@westsussex.gov.uk or contact the Learning and Development Helpdesk: 01243 756834.

If you have any questions about the switchover to the Gateway please email: ipeh.practice.improvement@westsussex.gov.uk
