ALL FM
Radio Training
Are you out of work or economically inactive?
A little bit nervous about using IT?
Are you currently dealing with mental health issues?
ALL FM 96.9 uses radio production training and broadcast to engage those at risk of exclusion in Greater Manchester's communities, to improve skills, challenge isolation and provide a positive medium of expression for those who are least heard. With over a hundred active volunteers presenting and producing live radio for the diverse communities of Manchester, their ethos is ‘by the community, for the community’.
Their presenters and producers have been trained by ALL FM, presenting a range of shows, including foreign language shows, shows by and for carers, those with mental health issues, disabilities, older people and younger people and all those in between.
Their training will equip you to write, present and produce a radio show or a podcast. The skills gained go much further than just radio – greater confidence, better communication skills and improved IT skills. In short, greater life skills.

It's Never Too Late To Start Volunteering
Volunteering is when someone spends time doing something to benefit others. It can include shopping for someone, being a mentor, assisting someone with a job search, giving reading lessons, helping at a food bank, befriending – and much more. Anyone can volunteer; you can do as much or as little as you like, to fit around your life. It may be a regular activity, a one-off, or anything in between. Volunteering is for people of all ages, abilities, experiences and backgrounds. You don’t need any skills or qualifications to begin volunteering. Your past experiences may be extremely useful when volunteering
