Protecting People Angus Learning and Development FrameworkThe protecting people team in Angus would like to highlight the current version of the Learning and Development Framework. The framework is updated on a regular basis ensuring that as services evolve, and the needs of staff evolve this is captured within the current framework. There is a wide range of excellent learning and development resources available across Scotland contained within the framework and it is essential that our workforce is aware of and able to access high quality learning to ensure they are appropriately trained in all protecting people topics. This framework has been developed to provide a single source of information which signposts the workforce to the learning that is free and recommended by the PPA Learning and Development Subgroup. This is not an exhaustive list of learning resources, and it will be regularly updated to ensure content remains current and relevant. If you are aware of any learning resources that your feel should be included in the framework, please let us know by contacting protectingpeopleangus@angus.gov.uk. Employer Pledge Launch
Thursday 28 March 2024 4pm – 6pm
Strathmore Rugby Club, Forfar
Join us to launch our new Employer Pledge.
Are you an organisation or business looking to become more gender-based violence (GBV) aware? The Employer Pledge is a transformative initiative where employers can commit to creating and implementing policies centred around gender-based violence awareness.
By taking this pledge, employers publicly commit to developing and enforcing policies that promote their awareness and support their employees should they face any type of gender-based violence. We would like organisations and retailers to adopt a culture that prioritises respect, equality, and empathy for anyone who may experience GBV.
The Employer Pledge is more than a symbolic gesture; it's a strategic commitment that aligns with the values of inclusivity, diversity, and social responsibility. By prioritising this commitment, organisations and businesses not only contribute to the eradication of gender-based violence but also elevate their reputation as a safe and respectful place to work in Angus.
This session is open to professionals and members of the public.
