Hello and welcome to the October edition of the Protecting People Angus newsletter. My name is Jordan Burns and I am the new chair of the PPA Workforce Learning and Development subgroup. I would like to start off by thanking the previous chair Fiona Pollock for all her hard work with the group over the last three years.
As you can see there are a variety of training courses available online and in person including Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) Hoarding and Self-neglect Awareness and Good Practice in Domestic Abuse and Safe & Together Principles.
Also remember the clocks go back an hour on the 29 October, and make sure you have plenty sweets for the “guisers” who may chap your door on the 31 October…
