Ohio had a strong contingent at the recent Lifesavers Conference held in Louisville. Participants included members of the Ohio Traffic Safety Office, Ohio State Highway Patrol, Ohio Safe Communities Programs, Ohio Law Enforcement, Nationwide Insurance and general traffic safety partners.
Participants heard from Secretary Elain L. Chao, Secretary, U.S. Department of Transportation, Heidi King, Deputy Administrator from NHTSA, Darrin Grondel, GHSA Executive Board Chair and Director, Chief Steven Casstevens, First Vice President, International Association of Chiefs of Police and Melissa Wandall, President, National Coalition for Safer Roads and Founder of the Mark Wandell Foundation.
