House Bill 523, effective on September 8, 2016, legalized medical marijuana in Ohio.
The Ohio Marijuana Legalization Initiative may appear on the ballot in Ohio as an initiated constitutional amendment on November 5, 2019.
The measure would legalize the use, possession, and sale of marijuana for persons age 21 or older in Ohio.
