Good morning,
At this week's meeting, the Pima County Board of Supervisors approved the County's Fiscal Year 2026/27 Final Budget, a $1.809 billion spending plan that reflects the Board's priorities while maintaining the County's long-standing commitment to fiscal responsibility.
The budget is the culmination of months of planning and was developed by County Administrator Jan Lesher using the Board of Supervisors' Strategic Plan as its foundation. It continues to advance the County's Prosperity Initiative and One Pima Initiative by investing in the services residents rely on every day while preparing for future challenges.
The adopted budget prioritizes public safety, transportation and infrastructure, affordable housing and homelessness response, public health, workforce development, economic opportunity, and organizational excellence. It also continues investments in parks, flood control, libraries, broadband expansion, and other programs that improve quality of life throughout Pima County.
Below is a summary of the FY 2026/27 Pima County budget expenditures and property tax rates adopted by the Board of Supervisors.
The FY 2026/27 budget continues Pima County's tradition of responsible financial management while making strategic investments that strengthen our communities, maintain essential public services, and position the County for long-term success.
