Survey to identify Opportunity Zones

Pima County is seeking input to help shape the future of economic investment in Southern Arizona through the next generation of the federal Opportunity Zones program.
Under the newly enacted federal One Big Beautiful Bill Act, a second round of Opportunity Zones will take effect Jan. 1, 2027. The program offers federal tax incentives to encourage long-term private investment in lower-income and economically distressed communities.

SBA offers relief to Arizona small businesses and private nonprofits
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced the availability of low-interest federal disaster loans to small businesses and private nonprofit (PNP) organizations in Arizona to offset economic losses caused by drought beginning Jan. 1.
The declaration covers the Arizona counties of Apache, Cochise, Coconino, Gila, Graham, Greenlee, Maricopa, Navajo, Pima, Pinal, Santa Cruz and Yuma.

Shape the future of transportation in Pima County
Help Pima County Transportation develop a Master Plan that will guide improvements for walking, biking, driving and transit across Pima County for the next 30 years.
The Transportation Master Plan will address all 9,189 square miles of the County and include 2,200 miles of roadway, along with pedestrian, bicycle, transit, and paratransit infrastructure. This plan will help local businesses by improving mobility for all residents.
