1. Free Entitlement actuals – important changes to dates
Important information: The Online Provider Portal (OPP) is changing its opening schedule.
The OPP will be open for four weeks from either 1 January, 1 April or 1 September for you to submit your actuals (child-level) data. We are hoping this will eleviate any technical issues around eligibility start dates for Extended Free Entitlement (FE) plus you will know which children have or have not started with you that term.
Please note the following FE spring term OPP actuals schedule:

Any children who were in attendance during headcount week and not submitted/checked during this period will not be approved via the Post-Headcount and Exceptional Payments (PHEP) process, as missing the deadline is not considered an exceptional reason.
Please only submit a PHEP for a 3 or 4 year old FE child if they meet the exceptional circumstance criteria as outlined in section 4.12 of the Provider Declaration. For 2 year olds please continue to complete the PHEP form.
