1. Makaton Foundation Workshop for Professionals
(Stage 1 – 4 and Additional Vocabulary)
Duration: This is a TWO FULL DAY course and will take place over two weeks
Date: 16 and 23 November 2018
Time: 9.00 am – 4.00pm
Venue: Bognor Regis Nursery School, 85 Victoria Drive, Bognor Regis, West Sussex, PO21 2TB
Cost: The cost of the course is £185 which includes materials but lunch is not included.
Tutor: Noriko Bayes (SSC nursery nurse at BRNS and Makaton Regional Tutor)
Entry criteria: Participants need to have an understanding of early communication skills but no signing experience/knowledge required.

The next Paediatric First Aid Course is running in Crawley on Friday 23 and 30 November.
This course costs £50 per person for Training Subscription Members, and £200 per person for non-members.
You can book you spaces on this course via the Learning and Development Gateway.
A huge thank you to all the providers who completed applications for the Extended Free Entitlement (30 hours) Awards 2018. There have been some fantastic applications sharing some great practice.
Please note that there has been a slight delay in announcing the award winners and we will now telephone you on Wednesday 24 October 2018 if you have been successful. Winners will also be announced and celebrated via the weekly Early Years and Childcare Broadcast.
