2. Introduction to Children’s Learning and Wellbeing Audit (CLaWBA)

These two hour workshops are for staff working in Early Years Settings and with Integrated Prevention and Earliest Help (IPEH). It seeks to introduce you to, and support you in using, the Children’s Learning and Wellbeing Audit (CLaWBA) tool to create plans to support the whole setting.

The aim of this workshop is to assist you in gaining an overview of the purpose and process of the CLaWBA tool and how you use it in your practice. If you apply what you have learnt in this workshop you will be able to:

  • Identify the indicators used within the CLaWBA.
  • Complete an audit.
  • Link the Family Service Directory to specific indicators.
  • Analyse audit information to create an action plan for a setting.
  • Identify how the CLaWBA links to thresholds within the continuum of need document.
