Have your say on residents' parking permit scheme
We’re reviewing the residents’ parking permit scheme to make it easier for people to park near their homes and to better manage street parking in high-demand areas.
The current scheme has been in place since 2017. We’ve proposed updates to the scheme and its policy and we want to hear what you think.
The consultation is open for six weeks and closes on Sunday 28 September. We’ve created a short survey to capture your views and it’s open to everyone, especially those who may be affected by the changes.
 Overnight road works in Wokingham
The road will be closed at the southern approach to the roundabout on Finchampstead Road, in addition to the eastern end of Molly Millars Lane, which is already closed for the ongoing work.
The work will start at 8pm on Tuesday 26 August, running until 6am the following morning. There will then be a further closure the following night (Wednesday 27 August) during the same hours, with diversions in place.
This must be completed overnight as it involves working on a live carriageway, as well as temporarily blocking access to businesses.
The overnight work will join the existing road to part of the new roundabout and will help us move to the next phase of the project. The next phase earmarked for Monday 8 September.
