We've published the approved road closures which will be in place for street parties to celebrate His Majesty The King’s Coronation next weekend (6, 7 and 8 May).
We have made it easy for residents living in cul-de-sacs and residential roads to hold events in the borough by waiving road closure charges during the Coronation bank holiday weekend.
More than 60 road closure applications have been approved in the borough and can be viewed by checking the map on our Engage Wokingham Borough website or downloading the ‘Coronation weekend road closures’ PDF.
Don’t forget to share your street party, afternoon tea or public event on the map on Engage Wokingham for other residents to see and attend.

We've received a planning application from developer Crest Nicholson for a district centre with shops and other amenities on the Arborfield Green development, and we're accepting your comments until Tuesday 9 May.
The scheme, to be built on land off Nine Mile Ride Extension near Bohunt School and Arborfield Green Leisure Centre, already has outline planning permission so this "reserved matters" application is to decide the finer details.
The proposal comprises 950 square metres of commercial space across 18 units, a community centre with nursery, library and café and a pre-school, as well as potential for a pub and supermarket (subject to a separate application).
It also includes 200 new homes including an affordable element, a public square, pedestrian and cycle access plus related landscaping and open space. The application also covers matters like design, parking and drainage schemes.
The map above can be seen in full on page 67 of the applicant's design and access statement.

Everybody had a "wheelie" good time at My Journey Wokingham's annual Bike Bonanza, which was recently held at the FBC Centre in Finchampstead.
More than 150 adults and children enjoyed "learn to ride" sessions or trialled various bikes on the nearby greenway to California Country Park.
They rode with confidence around a mock-up of a real road, complete with miniature zebra crossings, or tackled simple obstacles on an off-road course thanks to Sprockets Cycle Club.
Our smoothie bike Pedalicious was there with the My Journey team, who gave information about cycling locally, alongside local mechanic Dr Bike, who gave free bicycle checks.

The local Community Alcohol Partnership (CAP) team took to the streets of Wokingham to raise awareness of proxy purchasing earlier this month.
We all know that buying alcohol when we are under 18 is illegal, but did you know that it is also illegal to purchase alcohol on behalf of someone who is under 18?
To help businesses who sell alcohol understand the up-to-date laws, the CAP team visited off licences in the town centre to provide guidance and resources to support them.
All shopkeepers said that they were extra vigilant and most had a good grasp of the rules, saying that they felt comfortable refusing to sell alcohol to anyone they suspected of purchasing on behalf of a minor.
As well as the on-the-spot advice, the shopkeepers were keen to take up CAP’s offer of free refresher training, helping them understand the current legislation, spot the signs and be confident to refuse a sale.
