Back 2 Work Complete Training
Level 1 Construction - CSCS Test and Card paid for
This qualification provides learners with the knowledge and understanding to work in the Construction industry:
• Induction with tutor over the telephone
• Contact with tutor throughout the course via telephone, email and Microsoft Teams (video chat).
• Online delivery Microsoft Teams sessions are held twice a day with the tutor which delivers key elements of the unit.
• Learners working at own pace to complete the work with the tutor on hand for support.
The course is to be completed in a maximum of 10 days, However if the candidate puts the extra time in, they can progress quicker as the course is flexible to work round them. Course daily times are 10am to 4pm
You need to be 19 and born before 31 August 2001. Unemployed or working 16 hrs or less. Not in education with the right to work in UK.. You will also need access to a PC, laptop or tablet (smart phones are not able to support the course content).

Work Club Reform Radio - Last Thursday of every month with a full session based on opportunities for the future. It includes a number of speakers who discuss various opportunities available, as well as 1-1s and pastoral sessions, are also available. Their pastoral team also runs a clinic every Wednesday to support young people in their next steps to getting their job. This includes CVs, applications, interviews, etc, and will help you whilst you’re looking for a new role.

Feels Write - 9 and 10 March from 10am to 2pm.
is a two-day creative writing workshop with Eduarda Klaser and Dan Owens-Cooper. During these two sessions you are encouraged to use your personal experiences to create new and interesting stories through a series of exercises and writing prompts. If you have ever had a desire to write, or need a little help with where to start, then this workshop will give you the opportunity to test ideas and potentially walk away with a mini portfolio of short stories, created by you. Free for all, 19+.

Lets Get Digital
Let’s Get Digital - This 12 week course is open to young people aged 16-24 from Manchester, Tameside, Salford and Trafford who face significant barriers to education, employment or training. It focuses on developing the key technical and personal skills required to explore and secure employment in the digital sector. The project is blended with real experiences of live briefs, supported work placements and interviews with potential employers upon completion. As part of the project the young people will have access to Reform’s well-being manager, pastoral care team and other progression opportunities.

Tuesday 9 March to Tuesday 6 April.
This is for anyone who has a desire to work within the Care sector, so they can gain an insight into the sector and gain a L1 qualification. Learners will be introduced to Care Worker opportunities available with CRG Homecare based in Manchester and have interview preparation whilst on the course.

For people age 50+
Sonder Radio is delivering a 2 week long online project 'Let's Get Digital' - for 50+ residents of Manchester who are not currently in employment, in partnership with Manchester Adult Education Service. The programme includes an introduction to radio, interviews, production and creative writing with a focus on confidence building and team work. The group will produce and present a live radio show together on the Friday to an invited audience.
It's completely free to attend and we will provide laptops and data if this is a barrier. If you have attended one of our face to face courses in the past, you are still very welcome to join us again for a refresh and/or to learn more.

No experience is required, all you need to bring is a willingness to dive in and engage - in return, you’ll come out of the programme with real, current, employable skills, setting you up to succeed in a busy industry in need of skilled people.
The course is delivered online and remotely, and is supported fully by a group of Manchester’s best digital educators and mentors. It also doesn’t affect things like Universal Credit, so you can engage with the course while being supported.
