We look forward to seeing you soon!
At this month’s Neighbourhood Café, we’ll discuss how to cope with rejection while staying motivated and seeing the positive.
Applying for jobs or courses often means experiencing rejection. We'll talk about how to stay positive and keep our confidence levels up, while thinking about what we can learn from the experience and how it can actually help us.
The Neighbourhood Café is a monthly event where you can meet Job Hub Advisors, connect with others, and focus on employability-related topics. Participate as much, or as little, as you like. Everyone is welcome.
Please do come and join us on Thursday 9th March 2023 from 10.00–11.00 am. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided! The address is: Old Diorama Arts Centre, Regent's Place, 201 Drummond Street, Triton Square, London NW1 3FE. Please RSVP to gabrielle.orcutt@camden.gov.uk

Beyond The Box and British Land are working together on the Euston Tower project situated in Regent’s Place in the London Borough of Camden.

The Creative Producer Programme will see Beyond The Box work with eight young producers to capture the stories of local people through film and photography - as they explore their relationship as residents to their neighbourhood, and their built environment paid at London Living Wage.
They are looking for young people who have an interest in audio-visual media, film, and photography, but who are also interested in their community and the people who live, work and play in Camden.
They want to work with young people from Camden to take up space in their community, creating opportunities for youth innovation and meaningful engagement, gaining insight from a generation often unheard and under-represented.

Camden Apprenticeship Opportunities
Our service is for Camden residents, former Camden secondary school students or Camden care leavers are for all ages 16 and above.
Our apprenticeship vacancies
We have vacancies all year round – sometimes more, sometimes fewer, depending on employer demand. We have apprenticeships both in the Council and with external employers. Almost all the roles we advertise are ring fenced for our candidates, therefore there’s much less competition than if they were to apply for a job elsewhere.
What is an apprenticeship?
Apprenticeships are paid jobs which also allow the employee to study towards a nationally recognised qualification. Many people prefer this option to college or university, as there are no tuition fees, you earn a salary and also end up with a lot of experience (that you wouldn’t get if studying alone).

All our vacancies are advertised here: www.camden.gov.uk/apprenticeships
