TODAY - GFES PTA Spirit Day with Chick-Fil-A!
Our final spirit day for the 2023-2024 school year is today, Friday May 24th with the North Point Village Chick-Fil-A (1494 North Point Village Center, Reston, VA 20194)! You can order by placing a mobile pickup, dine-in, Drive-thru, or curbside order from 7am - 8pm.
You get to enjoy a great meal or snack and the PTA will receive 25% of all sales when you use the code 'ROADRUNNER' while using the Chick-Fil-A app. If you are dining in or ordering through the drive-thru, mention you are ordering for the Great Falls PTA spirit event for the PTA to receive 25% of sales!
Unfortunately, the Chick-Fil-A app does not allow you to input the code for delivery orders!

BEFORE SCHOOL Spanish Language Program 2024-2025
The Children’s Center for Language and Culture, Inc. (ChiCeLaCu!) in partnership with the GFES PTA is pleased to offer the Spanish Program for its 12th consecutive year. ChiCeLaCu’s goal is to cement a strong language foundation, ultimately enabling students to become proficient Spanish speakers.
The program combines the arts with dynamic and interactive teaching approaches to make this a truly fun and effective experience. As a long-term program, children are expected to achieve language proficiency in 4-5 years of participation in the program. Students begin at Beginner Levels 1 and 2 and move to the intermediate and advanced levels as they progress through their school years.
The class is held from 7:45 AM to 8:35 AM on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays beginning on September 16th, 2024 and ending on May 7th, 2025. ChiCeLaCu! follows the FCPS calendar with respect to teacher workdays, holidays, and school cancellations.

Congrats Girls on the Run 5K Runners!
Last Saturday, May 18th, GFES Girls on the Run (GOTR) participated in the GOTR Spring 5K held at Fair Oaks Mall. Despite the rain, our girls and their buddy runners attended and ran their hearts out. Nothing stops these GOTR girls from a fun run! Thank you to head coach Courtney Tsai, assistant coaches Jen Yoon, Laura Cobletz and Cameron Smith, as well as parent volunteer Elle Dickerson!

Great Falls' School of Theatrical Dance Spring Performance "Kaleidoscope" is THIS WEEKEND at Langley High School.
It will be a beautiful showcase of all studio dancers and ages (preschool to high school), highlighting our graduating Seniors. School of Theatrical Dance includes many genres of dance, and the performance will share these classes and levels with you: Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Modern, and Acrobatics.
