Dear Rose Hill ES families and caregivers,
Here are some updates and events that we would like to share with you:
- Here is the link to the recording of yesterday's AAP information session for families. It is available for viewing on YouTube for those of you who were unable to attend. - The PTA will be hosting a "Fun Run" on Friday, November 18th. This event will take place during the school day and serve as a PTA fundraiser for our school. Volunteers will be needed that day to support. Please reach out to our PTA President, Sara Duckery, at ptapresidentrosehill@gmail.com with any questions you may have.
- The information below is for a Stress Management class for our Spanish-speaking families. Please contact Kate Pennington, our family liaison, at kpennington@fcps.edu with any questions about this workshop. Stress Management - Presented in Spanish.pdf
- Our PTA will be hosting a "Trunk or Treat" on Friday, October 28th in our school parking lot from 5:15-6:30. This event is free for families and costumes are encouraged. *If you are interested in volunteering at the event by coming early to decorate your vehicle's trunk and staying to hand out treats, please reach out to the PTA.

- Our Harvest Luncheon will take place in the cafeteria on November 10th during your child's grade level lunch time. A schedule will be sent out closer to the date. Lunches provided by FCPS Food Services will ONLY be offered to students. However, we do encourage you to pack your own lunch to eat with your child.
- This Saturday, October 15th, the Franconia Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting an Open House from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is FREE and will offer opportunities to meet the firefighters, see safety demonstrations, tour fire trucks, and more! The address is 6300 Beulah St. Alexandria, VA 22310.
