Register for the HR Leadership Forum!
HR Directors, Managers and Chief Diversity Officers: There is still time to register for the DHRM Human Resource Leadership Forum, Reconnecting Human Resources, on December 7 at the Science Museum of Virginia's Dewey Gottwald Center! We will welcome Governor Glenn Youngkin, Secretary of Administration Lyn McDermid, and Martin Brown, the Commonwealth’s new Chief Diversity, Opportunity, and Inclusion Officer. During this event, we look forward to unveiling the new Diversity, Opportunity, and Inclusion strategic plan, and engaging in interactive discussions about our HR framework and best-in-class practices that will strengthen and sustain a high-performing workforce. Due to space limitations, we are inviting up to five (5) agency staff members, to include HR leaders and the agency CDO. Register here by November 28. Hope to see you there!

The report from DHRM, prepared in conjunction with DGS and VDOT, is posted on the Legislative Information System under General Assembly Reports.
To better reflect the employee experience, it is critical that agencies encourage as many employees as possible leaving employment to participate in the exit survey.
Engagement
Skill development and career growth continues to be a top interest for employees in choosing careers, jobs, and employers. And a lack of development and growth becomes a driver for turnover when these are not realized.
