View your Direct Access Payslip

"Payslips" for the November, 1, 2022 payday are available in Direct Access. Report any discrepancies through the P&A Office (Admin) to the SPO. If SPOs cannot address or need assistance, the SPO will submit a trouble ticket. Payslips can be accessed via the Self-Service "View" menu.

The more you understand some of the basics of the various pay, special pays, and allowances, the better you are able to make sure the information we need to compute your pay each month is up-to-date. The tool available to all military members each payday is the Direct Access Payslip. This report lets you know the information our systems use to process your pay, details about the pay and allowances you are eligible for, payroll deductions, as well as your leave balance. The following guides will help you understand your Payslip.

The end-month payday is Tuesday,  November 1, 2022. Paydays are the 1st (end-month) and the 15th (mid-month) of each month, or the business day preceding the 1st or the 15th if either should fall on a federal holiday, Saturday or Sunday. Members should not set up automated payments or assume funds will be available prior to published paydays. Members should verify with their financial institutions as to the actual time funds are available to their accounts. See "When is Payday?"  for more information.

New Pay Entitlement - Assignment Incentive Pay for Cutters Undergoing Maintenance Periods (AIP-CMP)

Assignment Incentive Pay for Cutters Undergoing Maintenance Periods (AIP-CMP), a special pay. AIP-CMP may be paid to active duty officers and enlisted members entitled to Basic Pay under REF (B), including Reservists on active duty who are permanently assigned to a career sea pay (CSP) eligible cutter, and whose CSP has been stopped in conjunction with a lengthy cutter maintenance period, such as SLEP, MMA, etc. AIP-CMP is authorized effective 01 OCT 2022 in the amount of $200 per month.

Enlisted Advancement Authorization (EPAA)

All Coast Guard Enlisted (ALCGENL) message 197/22 announces enlisted advancements authorized effective 1 November 2022. There is a spreadsheet available on PPC's Advancement CG SharePoint site that you can sort by unit or SPO for your convenience.

Tuition Assistance for the Coast Guard Workforce Has Been Extended for FY 23

As of Oct. 1, the Tuition Assistance (TA) Program is extended for fiscal year 2023 (FY 23), all active duty and reserve members, and civilian employees are able to use TA.

Fiscal Year 2023 Reserve Enlisted High Year Tenure (R-HYT)

All Coast Guard Reserve (ALCGRSV) message 059/22 provides guidance on the Reserve-High Year Tenure program for fiscal year (FY) 2023. A FY 2023 panel will be held for eligible Reserve enlisted members in the grades of E-7 and E-8. R-HYT is suspended for all other grades through FY 2023.

2022 Reserve Master Chief Advancement Panel Results

Commander, CG Personnel Service Center (CG PSC) approved the final report for the 2022 Reserve Master Chief Advancement Panel (RMCAP) convened on 17 October 2022. The list of eligible Senior Chiefs in ALCGPSC 136/22 is effective 01 January 2023 through 16 December 2023.

PCS Travel POET Guidance for Orders Issued in FY 2022

PCS orders that were issued in FY22 shall use the FY22 POET funding that was assigned to the orders set. This rule applies regardless of when the actual travel occurs for the member.

Fiscal Year Selected Reserve (SELRES) Bonuses and Designated Unit Pay (DUP)

This ALCOAST announces FY23 bonus offers for affiliation, enlistment, and assignment in the Coast Guard SELRES. DUP: $15 per (IDT) or (ATP) for reservists assigned to a (PSU), (MESG), or (MSRON).

Fiscal Year 2023 Military Workforce Planning Team Results - Naval Engineering Officer Interventions 

This ALCOAST authorizes two Critical Skills Retention Bonus (CSRB) offers. 1) Naval Engineering 2-4-2 Program. A $100,000 CSRB is authorized for active duty officers. 2) LCDR/O4 Engineer Officer Afloat. An $80,000 CSRB is authorized for active duty officers.

Fiscal Year 2023 Military Workforce Planning Team Results - Afloat Officer Interventions 

This ALCOAST announces the approved FY23 Afloat officer interventions. A $40,000 CSRB is authorized as a special incentive pay to retain active duty officers filling essential underway assignments, and who agree to obligate a four (4) year ADSC.

Coast Guard Announces FY 2023 Non-Monetary Enlisted Interventions

This ALCOAST details the results of the Military Workforce Planning Team (MWPT) non-monetary enlisted interventions. The MWPT convened in May 2022 to develop and recommend workforce policy interventions. The MWPT identified strategies for rates/ratings deemed to have personnel shortages that could negatively influence mission execution. MWPT deliberations considered factors from a broad spectrum of organizational needs.

Fiscal Year 2023 Clothing and Uniform Allowance Rates

Fiscal Year 2023 rates have been posted for Civilian Clothing AllowanceSupplemental Clothing Allowance, and Enlisted Clothing Maintenance Allowances. The new rates are effective on 1 October 2022.
