30 Hours Extended
Entitlement - Summer Term
Parents expecting to
start accessing their Extended Entitlement this summer term must apply for their
codes with the HMRC before 31 March 2018.
If a parent approaches
you with a validity start date between 1
and 23 April, you will need to see
evidence they applied before 31 March before offering them an FE place
summer term.
You cannot submit
claims for those with start dates 1-23 April if the parent has applied late.
Please see attached
additional guidance with samples of acceptable evidence which parents should be
able to provide you with.

2. 2018 – 2019 Training Subscription Scheme
It’s that time of year when you may be
thinking about renewing or joining the Training Subscription Scheme. All of our courses have been reviewed and
updated and we have many new courses coming including paediatric and adult
first aid, fire extinguisher, plus numerous online training courses.
You can join the Training Subscription Scheme from
Tuesday 3 April. For further information, including how to sign up, please

3. Advanced Notice of Booking: Early Years Transition
Events 2018
By now you
should have received an invitation to this year’s Early Years Transition Event
where you will be able to discuss children moving on to school in September
2018, in particular to identify children who may need additional transition
support as early as possible.
Bookings will
open to settings between 16 April and 2 May 2018. A reminder will be included
in the broadcast email on 18 April, which will contain a list of schools
attending each event and information on how to book your place.
