1. LSCB Child Protection Conferences and Core Group
Training
If you
are working in an Early Years Setting, you will be involved in supporting
children and their families in partnership with different agencies. Some of
this work may involve attending child protection conferences and core groups
to ensure the child in your setting is receiving the support they need in
order to improve their outcomes.
Child
Protection Conferences and Core Group Training will help you to:
- Find
out what is expected of you at a conference and core group;
- Understand
how the conference and core group process works (this will also help you to
explain it to parents/carers;)
- Support
the child in your setting in partnership with other agencies and
organisations;
- Identify
how to write a good quality report and the importance of sharing this with
parents/carers.
