Telford and Wrekin SEND Local Offer
Have you seen our new info banner?
Our SEND Local Offer now includes a rotating banner that highlights key information.
We received feedback from parent carers and SENCo's who suggested that it can be difficult to know where to start on the Local Offer. The homepage and SENCO Space both include a new carousel, that directs you to recent updates, events, and information. It provides quick, accessible links to relevant and up to date content.
We hope this improves your experience. Please share your thoughts by filling in our feedback form. Feedback form - SEND - Local offer.
To further support access to information we have created a Welcome to SEND News area, where you can find upcoming events, SEND top tips and all our latest Newsletters in one place. See previous editions of our SEND Family Newsletter, Hearing and Visual Impairment Newsletters, as well as the Short Breaks newsletter, for children and young people with a disability.

Telford Children’s Autism Hub
Spotlight on - Girls Group Relaunch
And what's on this summer.
Safe Space for Autistic Girls to Connect and Thrive
Our children and young people are at the heart of the hub and their voices are vital to the support we offer.
Autism often presents differently in girls, many face challenges such as social isolation, masking their true selves, and being misunderstood. Recognising the importance of tailored support, we were delighted to relaunch our Girls Group in May, with a focus on supporting autistic girls from Year 6 to Year 13. Our newly designed Girls Group provides a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where girls can connect with peers who truly understand their experiences. The group is a space where they are free to be themselves, without the pressure to conform to social expectations. Through fun and engaging activities, we aim to nurture friendships, build social skills, encourage greater independence and promote emotional well-being along with helping the girls explore and express their feelings.
Our Girls Group meets on the second Tuesday of each month
from 5:30pm – 6:30pm.
