Important Monthly Fire Safety Checks

As part of Churches Fire & Security's commitment to helping their customers fulfil their obligations, we have received from them a free downloadable checklist to provide guidance on what to check as part of your routine maintenance.

Easy to follow and instantly printable, the checklist of points to consider during monthly fire inspections includes assessing fire extinguishers, emergency lighting and fire doors

As stated in the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, the Responsible Person must carry out monthly testing of fire equipment to ensure they're working as expected.

All schools must ensure a professional Fire Risk Assessment is carried out once every five years .An yearly review must be carried out by a competent  person that has been trained in doings FRA's. Please ensure the the responsible person has their FRA training course up to date or arrange for a re-fresher course by contacting our team directly.
