East Yorkshire Parent Carer Forum Events coming up
Event 1 – Our NEXT Check in & Chat as follows:
Event: Check in & Chat
Date: 20 June
Time: 10am – 12am
Venue: EYPCF, Beverley Enterprise Centre, Beck View Road, Beverley.HU17 0JT
Cost: FREE
Notes – The Check in & Chat pop in session is for all parents and carers of children and young people (0-25) with SEND.
It is a chance to meet the EYPCF team and a great opportunity to meet like minded parents and carers who understand what life is like as a SEND family to share experiences and offer peer to peer support.
A member of the SENDIASS team will be joining us.
We also have an IAG officer joining us (Information, Advice and guidance) We will also have someone attending from HEALTH to answer any questions that you may have relating to health.
Children are more than welcome.

Event 2
Event: – NEW Supper Club
Date: 8 June
Time: 6pm – 8:30pm
Venue: The Potting Shed – Flemingate, Beverley, HU17 0NU
Cost: FREE
Notes: We will be replicating these events throughout East Yorkshire to give the opportunity for everyone to attend. After the great success of our Breakfast Clubs we have decided to start running a Supper Club. This is to offer support to working parents & carers that are unable to attend our other events that are on a day time during the week. We have received a lot of feedback from parents asking for an evening option so we hope that this will help The NEW Supper Club will be an evening meal out (tea time) provided by us at various locations throughout East Yorkshire. Children are of course welcome.

Event 3
Event – EYPCF AGM Event
Date: Monday 26 June
Time: 10am – 2pm
Venue:The Rix Pavilion, Driffield Showground, Driffield, YO25 9DN
Cost: FREE
Notes – A big EYPCF event to include the AGM (Annual General Meeting)
The theme will be “ The Journey 0-25 years” and it will be an event for parents and carers to gain information about the services available from early years to adulthood.
There will be many market stalls providing information from the LA, Health, Social Care and the Voluntary sector. There will be a particular emphasis on the transition between the four phases of Early Years, Primary, Secondary and post 16.
This is an opportunity for parents and carers to meet together, share information over a lovely lunch with practitioners and service providers as well as other parents and carers.
