Howard St. Improvement Open House August 28
An open house public meeting will be held on Mon. Aug., 28 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the St. Margaret Mary Activity Center, 7341 N. Claremont Ave., Chicago, to review and discuss proposed improvements to Howard Street, from Hartrey/Sacramento Avenue to Callan/Winchester Avenue.
The meeting will include a brief presentation on the need for the project, the design alternatives under consideration, and the project schedule. Aerial maps of existing conditions and exhibits of proposed improvements will be displayed.
The meeting is hosted by Evanston 8thWard Alderman Ann Rainey, the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT), and Chicago Aldermen Joe Moore (49th) and Debra Silverstein (50th).
