Stay informed! Dive into the local ballot measures, including:
Please note: Bob McCool has withdrawn from the race, yet his name will appear on the ballot. A vote for him plus three others will cause an overvote, which means none of your votes can be counted. If you accidentally vote for him, cross his name off and vote for three valid candidates.
Drop off your completed ballot at the Superior Town Hall (124 E. Coal Creek Drive) 24-hour drop box or vote in-person at Town Hall on Nov. 4 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. or Nov. 5 (Election Day) from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Boulder County voters may request to vote a Spanish-language ballot at any Vote Center. In Boulder County, Spanish language resources are also available online. Language assistance in multiple languages is available at Vote Centers.

Grab those shovels! Snow removal season is here.
Please help us keep Superior's walkways safe and accessible for all by removing snow and ice promptly after it snows!
In Superior, the property owner must remove all snow, sleet and ice obstructing a sidewalk within 24 hours of the end of each snowfall.
Superior's municipal code regarding snow and ice removal (Sec 11-1-20) now gives owners 24 hours after a code enforcement officer issues a warning to correct the violation. After that, a Municipal Court summons may be served.

Snow Busters help keep Superior's sidewalks safe
Get outside, help your neighbors and keep the community safe by volunteering for the Snow Buster program!
The program assists residents who report being physically AND financially unable to remove snow, sleet and ice from the sidewalk adjacent to their property to remain in compliance with Municipal Code 11-1-20.
If you need help or want to help others, Snow Busters is the program for you! Volunteers will be assigned to a community member who requires assistance with snow removal.
To volunteer or request assistance, complete the Snow Busters program application.

Thank you to our Parks, Recreation and Open Space team for working tirelessly to clear snow and ice in our parks and open space every winter.
Downtown Superior finalizes parking regulations and enforcement begins
To help ensure the 1,075 parking spaces in the Downtown Superior (DTS) core area are used efficiently and effectively, the Town has been working with commercial property owners there and the Superior Town Center Metropolitan Districts to implement the DTS parking plan.
Studies showed peak parking demand for 1,061 spaces, so parking in DTS may be tight during busy periods but is generally sufficient to meet the needs of this active neighborhood.
Parking restrictions and two- and three-hour allowed parking times are now in place for many public parking spaces along streets within DTS and the parking structures. You can scan the QR codes on signs posted in DTS to register your vehicle.
The Town is contracting with Parkwell to help manage parking in DTS and will begin issuing warnings in November with citations starting in January 2025.

Save the date! Winter Festival returns on Dec. 14
Mark your calendars for a winter wonderland of fun in Downtown Superior when the Winter Festival returns on Dec. 14!

The main event from 1 to 5 p.m. in Downtown Superior (on Main Street and at the Blue Sport Stable) has something for all ages—Skate with Santa, shop at the winter market, take photos with Santa and the Grinch, visit live reindeer, make arts and crafts and so much more!
Cody Qualls will perform hits from his Christmas album "The Inquiry" and other holiday favorites, and the Winter Festival will conclude with a beautiful holiday lighting ceremony.
Local businesses can get involved as sponsors, exhibitors or vendors. To showcase your services, please get in touch with the Superior Chamber.

New mural in the McCaslin underpass highlights Superior's resilience
A new mural in the McCaslin Boulevard underpass brings color to our community and transforms the space connecting Downtown Superior on the east with Grasso Park and Original Town Superior on the west.
Artist AJ Davis was selected to paint the mural, which represents Superior's resilience and honors native flowers, birds and pollinators with gradating color schemes and shapes strategically designed to fill the space.
"Each element in the mural has been thoughtfully chosen to echo the shared journey of this community's rebirth and bloom post the Marshall Fire," Davis wrote in his project proposal.
A robin is one of the mural's prominent features. The bird, often the first to greet spring, represents new beginnings and honors Davis' late grandma Carol, a Superior resident who felt a deep connection with robins.
This new public art piece is part of the Cultural Arts and Public Spaces (CAPS) Committee's ARTery project. Stop by and check it out!
Medicare Changes for 2025: Here's what Superior Seniors need to know!
Join Jen Boyd of AIS Medicare & More from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Superior Community Center (1500 Coalton Road) as she dives into the Medicare changes people can expect in 2025.
This year, many Medicare plans will see rising rates, increased costs for prescription drug plans and changes to drug formularies. The Inflation Reduction Act also introduces significant changes that will reshape how beneficiaries manage their medications and costs.
Don't worry, though! Boyd is here to help. She will walk you through it all, answer questions and provide peace of mind.
People can change their Medicare coverage during the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP), which runs from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7. New coverage choices will go into effect Jan. 1.

Big Sagamore, Little Sagamore and Children's parks reopen to the public
Big Sagamore, Little Sagamore and Children's parks have officially reopened for the community to use.
All three parks were destroyed in the Marshall Fire, so their completion and reopening marks an essential stage in Superior's rebuilding journey.
The parks are special places for families and community members to gather, and they help the rebuilt neighborhoods begin to feel like home.

Support our local businesses this holiday season!
Small Business Saturday is just around the corner!
On Nov. 30, we encourage you to shop local and support the small businesses that make the Town of Superior vibrant.
There are many new businesses in Downtown Superior, Rock Creek Village and the Superior Marketplace. Every purchase you make at a local business lets the businesses know we value having unique and quality shopping and dining experiences in our community.
Plan ahead to shop for specific holiday gifts on Small Business Saturday instead of Black Friday or Cyber Sunday, and take the time to explore new businesses you may not have visited before. Many shops offer special deals or events, so make it a fun outing with friends and family!
Let's show our support for the hardworking local entrepreneurs who keep our town thriving.
