County of San Diego Community Response Guide Testing
Deciding whether to report suspected abuse or neglect to the Child and Family Well-Being Department (CFWB) is difficult and can have a profound impact on children and families. To improve the consistency, accuracy, and equity of current reporting practice, CFWB, prevention partners, families, and community members have partnered with Evident Change and Casey Family Programs to develop a tool called a community response guide.
A one-hour virtual training was hosted on Monday, July 8. The live session was recorded for use by those who register to participate in testing after Monday, July 8th.
Complete the test(s) during the testing period (Monday, July 8th - Friday, August 9th). Interrater IRR testing will take up to one hour, depending on your pace. Field testing will take 10–15 minutes per concern, depending on the participant's pace.
