El Segundo Takes Center Stage at SoCal Deep Tech Week
El Segundo took center stage in September as sponsor and host city for SoCal Deep Tech Week 2025!
The week featured thought-provoking conversations among founders, investors, and policymakers, and perspectives from leaders shaping aerospace, AI, advanced energy, robotics, and beyond.
"In El Segundo, startups advancing dual-use technologies don't operate in isolation, they're steps away from primes, investors, a highly skilled talent pool, and the broader supply chain that accelerates commercialization and supports their growth. The collaborations during SoCal Deep Tech Week underscored why El Segundo is the national center where commercial innovation and national security intersect. This rare combination of access and opportunity is why more and more startups are choosing to build their future here," shared Mayor Chris Pimentel.
