Good morning,
On June 11, I had the pleasure of attending the much-anticipated ribbon cutting for the Pima County Northwest Service Center, a major step forward in bringing indispensable services to northwest Pima County and the Tucson community. This new facility, located on Miracle Mile, provides an easily accessible hub for residents to connect with needed resources from both the Pima County Health Department and Community & Workforce Development.
Both Pima County departments play a critical role in supporting the well-being of our community. In this edition of the newsletter, I’d like to shine a spotlight on the Pima County Health Department, whose mission is to promote health, prevent disease, and protect the safety of our residents.

The Northwest Service Center now stands where the iconic Golden Pin Lanes once welcomed Tucson bowlers. Pima County honored the site's history by preserving features like the original sign and basalt “BOWL” wall, blending community memory with a new purpose.
