USDA-FAS is reminding all exporters to register for the upcoming launch of USDA’s new online Export Sales Reporting and Query System (ESRQS), which is targeted for mid-October. Follow this link for step-by-step instructions.
Exporters are required by law to report to USDA all export sales and exports on a weekly and sometimes daily basis. See ESR Regulations or https://apps.fas.usda.gov/export-sales/fedregs.asp for more details. The new ESRQS is similar to the current system, but exporters are required to register with login.gov and participate in critical USDA trainings that are occurring now. Review the registration instructions and confirm that your registration is completed for the new system ASAP.
The URL for the new Export Sales Reporting and Query System is https://stgapps.fas.usda.gov/esrqs/#/home. Once registered, exporters can visit the site for testing and practicing data entry on the new system.
The USDA understands that everyone is busy but reporting export sales to USDA is not optional. Register and visit the new site as soon as possible. Timely registration to the new reporting system is critical to ensure that USDA continues to publish accurate export sales reports that are widely used by exporters, buyers, sellers, processors, and traders.
If you have any questions, please contact esr@usda.gov, Paul Trupo at Paul.Trupo@usda.gov or Amy Harding at amy.harding@usda.gov.

Wisconsin companies networked with Brazilian producers, buyers, and distributors, visited local farms, exchanged expertise with University of Wisconsin-Madison professors, and explored business opportunities. This event provided the opportunity for participants to better understand the Brazilian market and develop long-term business relationships and strategies in the country.
From August 20-22, DATCP organized a Wisconsin pavilion at Anuga Select India in Mumbai. Wisconsin companies participating used the show as a platform to showcase their products during the three-day event. Companies participated on a retail tour, met with buyers and distributors, networked, and gained more knowledge of the market. With a growing middle class and exploding packaged food market, many opportunities are available for Wisconsin businesses in this region.
*The Wisconsin Initiative for Agricultural Exports (WIAE), a collaborative project between DATCP and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), aims to boost the export of dairy, meat, and crop products by promoting Wisconsin agricultural products in the international marketplace. The WIAE was proposed in Gov. Tony Evers 2021-23 biennial state budget.
