Resource for Educators and for Parent Engagement in the English Language Development Program

Veronica Gallardo’s WABE presentation, Effective English Language Development for All English Learners, provides an overview of the civil rights obligations for multilingual/English learners, English language development (ELD) programs, and funding to support the work. This overview could be shared with parents to inform them of the district’s ELD program(s) and to invite them to share feedback about their child’s ELD program.
