Vaping is a RED FLAG for overall student health

We want to be safe, like your students. 

Even though the air is warm outside, lakes and river are still frigid.  Encourage your students to wear lifejackets while on the water.

This 2018 Healthy Youth Survey report shows that students who reported vaping, smoking, and using tobacco may be at increased risk for using other substances and experiencing depressive symptoms and thoughts of suicide.

Title IV

Title IV Funding to support Health & Physical Education

The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) contains specific language that allows school districts to utilize Student Support and Academic Enrichment Grants (Title IV, Part A) for programs and activities that support student access to a well-rounded education. School districts may use Title IV, Part A funds to implement or expand programs and activities that use Health and Physical Education as tools to support student success through the promotion of constructive student engagement, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
