Paving on Shorewood Drive and lower section of 90th Place Southeast now planned for May 30 |
|
Due to rain on May 29, paving on Shorewood Drive and the lower section of 90th Place Southeast is now planned for May 30, with May 31 as a backup date. Check out our recent notification for more details.
We expect paving to take approximately one day to complete. Paving is weather dependent. If paving is rescheduled due to weather conditions, we will update the project website.
Important information during paving planned for May 30
Once crews begin paving, they cannot stop or allow cars to drive on the newly paved roadway.
During work hours while paving, all driveways on 90th Pl S.E. and 89th Pl S.E. will be temporarily inaccessible. Shorewood Dr and 90th Pl S.E. will be open with single-lane traffic through the paving area.
Crews are holding parking spots for neighbors along Shorewood Dr. Residents who will need to use their cars during working hours should move them by 9 a.m. Residents who live on 90th Pl S.E. between 89th Pl S.E. and Shorewood Dr will not be able to park in the street during paving. Please move your cars by 9 a.m.
Crews will walk neighbors up and down the street to cars and homes. To help our team coordinate parking, please place a paper with your phone number on the dash of your car so we can contact you if needed.
If you have access needs or would like assistance finding parking during paving activities, please contact the Community Services team at 425-305-3578 or NMEsewer@kingcounty.gov.

Activities after paving
