Puget Sound Energy repairing gas line on Southeast 35th Place near East Mercer Way

Gas line capped and access to roads have been restored

Puget Sound Energy capped the gas line at 10:12 a.m., stopping the leak. They are currently working on repairs.

Eastbound and westbound I-90 offramps to East Mercer Way (Exit 8) are fully reopened. No additional traffic impacts are expected beyond regular construction detours.

What to expect:

• Access to homes restored for residents
• No impacts to residential gas lines
• Crews in area during gas line repair
• Regular construction detours remain in place
