Join us in celebrating and appreciating the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. We encourage you to participate in activities to foster a sense of community involvement to build authentic relationships.
An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity. ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we regret to inform you that the 2023 Housing Conference has been postponed until January 2024. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
The King County School-to-Work (S2W) program works with teachers, school districts, and families to connect students with developmental disabilities to employment services while students are still in their high school transition programs.
S2W has many outreach activities throughout the year to support enrollment in the program and to build relationships with schools and families. The team completed the first of what will hopefully be a series of "data stories" to share out data and learning with partners and the community. The first "data story" provides a snapshot of who S2W is reaching, looking at data by school district, support needs, and race and ethnicity of students. They are also highlighting what steps to take to improve outreach efforts based on what they are learning through their data and relationships with community partners and families.
Take a moment to review the next steps for outreach in the S2W Enrollment Rate Data Story to see who the program is reaching, what steps are being taken to improve outreach efforts learned from the data and relationships formed with community partners and families.
The S2W Team is committed to using data and stories from students, families, teachers, and their partners to improve their programming and outreach strategies. if you have questions about the S2W program, please email S2Wreports@kingcounty.gov and for questions about the analysis, please email DCHSData@kingcounty.gov.
