The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for the 2023 Supportive Housing and Supported Employment Fidelity Review Incentive funds. There are funds remaining.
- Host a Baseline review and have one person be on a fidelity reviewer team to review another agency: $7,500
- Host a follow up fidelity review for those agencies having already done a baseline: $7,500
- Participate as a team member on 2 fidelity review teams with a DBHR lead reviewer: $5,000
Everyone who has participated as a fidelity reviewer has indicated that the process was amazing, and that they learned so much about Fidelity. Agencies that have hosted a review have indicated that it results in improved services and collaboration with other agencies.
Read the Interest letter which explains DBHR’s philosophy on continuous quality improvement, how to qualify/apply for these incentive funds, and what you can expect to receive if you are chosen. If you are interested in participating, please fill out the Incentive form.
Applications will be accepted until all of the funds are spoken for. We look forward to hearing from you.
For questions, please reach out to Kimberly Castle at kimberly.castle@hca.wa.gov or Dawn Miller at Dawn.miller@hca.wa.gov.
Foundational Community Supports is looking for participant success stories from providers. Sharing success stories is vital to show how Supportive Housing and Supported Employment services provide hope and move people forward in their recovery. The stories inspire others who may need Housing and Employment support to access Foundational Community Supports services. Legislators and funders also need to see opportunities of success to validate the importance of continuing to provide funding for the services.
There are a few different ways to share these successes:
- An agency or participant can write their story
- Provide a write-up along with pictures and/or video
- Connect with our HCA communications team to participate in an interview to share the success story.
If your agency would like to be part of this great work and have participants, landlords, or employers who want to share their story how FCS has made a difference in their life, please contact us by email at HCAEmpAssist@hca.wa.gov. Please be sure to include contact information including full name and email address, send any Protected Health Information in a secured format, and include the HCA media release. We will follow up with you for additional information and/or an interview as requested.
Thanks for helping us share the important work and reach others who can benefit from Foundational Community Supports!
