Provider Rate Increase Update July 2, 2025 |

Based on new instructions from the DSHS Secretary, effective July 1, 2025, the Legislature approved a 2.2% rate increase for DDCS (formerly DDA) community residential service providers. Due to the timing of this change you will see a 2% increase on July 1, 2025, and there will be another message explaining how and when the additional .2% will be applied.
This rate increase will be applied to the following providers rates:
- Alternative Living.
- Companion Home.
- Group Home.
- Group Training Home.
- Staffed Residential Home.
- Supported Living (including Community Protection).
For SL, GH, and GTH, the increase is based on the assessed rate and is not applied to the following:
- Administrative Cost Center.
- Certification Rate.
- Professional Services (administrative costs).
For Staff Residential Homes, the increase is based on the assessed rate except for:
- Administrative Cost Center, including damage allowance and transportation.
- Community Inclusion.
- Consultant costs.
Updated rates are posted to the SL, GTH, and GH rate table listed here. Note: the 2.2% increase may not be updated on the rate table for a few days.
