Community Resources
The Washington State Library recently launched a new online platform that gives library cardholders across the state access to free professional certifications and workforce learning tools.
You can access the resources through your local library or by signing up for a state library card.
Please note, the State Library is not overseen by L&I.
Updates
Did You Know?
Check this out – this is where we’ll occasionally post information that you may already know but is still worth sharing.
Independent Medical Exam (IME) Best Practices:
To help both you and the Claim Manager (CM) have best results for the Independent Medical Exam (IME) process:
- Always allow five business days before calling the claim manager to request the “confidential” flag be removed. Then you can review the IME report.
- Always submit clean copies of the Job Analysis (JA) into the claim file as soon as possible. If the claim manager requests that you fax the JAs directly to the IME panel, send them at least two weeks in advance.
Reminders
Annual Vocational Firm Agreements are due Dec. 15.
Email your monthly data to the Vocational Firm Data mailbox on the 21st day of every month.
