Communications from RTWP
In March we started sending monthly Vocational News Bulletins to consolidate distribution of our messages. It is currently on a monthly cadence, with flexibility based on content. The intent is to improve how you receive messages and keep you better informed.
Please respond to this three-question survey, we want to know how it's working for you!
Some things have not changed:
- We still send stand-alone messages to firm managers when an action is required or when the information is time sensitive.
- All messages can still be found on What’s New.
- Our distribution list is only for firm managers who then decide when and how they will share with their staff.
- When adding or removing a firm manager to the distribution list, send your updates to PSRS@Lni.wa.gov.

Counselor Spotlight
Sometimes, workers reach out to us directly to express gratitude for the services they receive from their vocational rehabilitation counselor (VRC). Here’s a couple that came to us recently:
Amanda Pero, VRC with Conden Nero, helped a worker who noted that Amanda was helpful during a difficult time. The worker especially appreciated that Amanda addressed all his questions, and that her communications were timely and encouraging.
VRC Cynthia Huffman is appreciated by a worker who said she is a good communicator, helped him to understand the claim process, and supported him through the vocational process up to Structured Settlement.
