Benefits
Make the Most of Your Benefits
Commute Trip Reduction (CTR) Program
As part of the Commute Trip Reduction (CTR) program, the City of Auburn offers subsidized ORCA cards. The City subsidizes up to $75 per month in Sounder and Metro bus fares.
Full-time, regular employees are eligible to participate in the CTR program. To get started, please email Samantha Norman to issue an ORCA card and have it pre-loaded with a $75 voucher. Vouchers are added monthly (usually around the last week of a month for the following month). Both the City and the employee are able to add funds to the ORCA card. The cards can be used on public transportation throughout King and Pierce County.
With toll changes coming to the SR 167, now is a great time to take advantage of this program!
