Announcements 

New Turf Field Open for Use

Chantilly has a beautiful new turf athletic field at the stadium.  FCPS has turned the field over to the school and is ready for use.  PLEASE help us keep this field in good condition.  Please keep bikes and any motorized scooters off of the turf.  

Girls Flag Football is starting this fall in Fairfax County and our historical first season is right around the corner. The GFF Interest Meeting is Thursday, August 28th at 3:00 in the cafeteria. If you have any questions, email Coach Neff at aneff@fcps.edu.

Seniors! Join the CHS Athletic Boosters now for early membership discounted price of $50 ($25 off the regular Student membership)! This gets you into all regular HOME games for FREE for the 2025-26 school year. Also, joining Boosters gets you eligible to apply for the CHS Athletic Booster scholarship in the spring! Boosters gave out 6-$1,000 scholarships last year.  

FALL SPORTS ELIGIBILITY

There are TWO items that must be completed BEFORE a student is eligible to try out for a sport.  Please complete this by Wednesday July 30th deadline.  You will not be able to tryout until these are completed AND processed.

1. ONLINE ATHLETIC REGISTRATION

Online registration must be completed each school year for each student-athlete.

Returning Athletes: All families will need to create a NEW account. One account per family, where you will be able to register multiple students. Your previous log-in will not work. A student’s ID can only be registered once/associated with one account.

New Athletes: Please create an account and register for the 2025-2026 program. A student’s ID can only be registered once/associated with one account.

2. TURN IN A COMPLETED VHSL PHYSICAL FORM

Legislation introduced in the Virginia General Assembly and recently signed into law will result in two significant changes to the athletic pre-participation examination (physical) requirements for FCPS student-athletes:

Beginning May 1, 2025, FCPS student-athletes are EXPECTED to have athletic physicals completed on the new VHSL Athletic Participation/Parental Consent/Evaluation Form (revised April 2025).

• Student-athletes MUST submit, at minimum, pages 1, 2 AND 3 of the new form to be eligible to participate.
• This form will be valid for a period of 14 months from the date the form is signed by the medical provider completing the exam. This is the date on the Medical Eligibility Form (page 3).
• Physicals completed on the “old” form dated July 1, 2025 and beyond WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Completed physicals can be submitted in-person to the Student Activities Office or to one of our Athletic Trainers.

To CHS Booster Pass Holders - CHS Booster Passes have gone digital on GoFan! Please make sure you DO NOT click the green button shown below until the Gate Attendant tells you to. The "Use 1 pass" button MUST be green or you will not be allowed to use that pass to enter.   See the full GoFan instructions on how to use the new digital Booster pass.
