All Region Field Hockey Players -
1st Team All-Region - Meghan Sheehan - Defense - Junior
2nd Team All-Region - Keeli Gant - Forward - Freshman
Congratulations to Tristan Thurneysen Cross Country District Champion!
Tristan finished in 1st Place in the Concorde District Cross Country Championship. He was followed closely (2 seconds) by Jack Morgan who also ran a great race. The Boys Team qualified by finishing in 3rd place for the Region Cross Country Meet on Wednesday Nov. 6 at Burke Lake (Boys 2:30/Girls 3:00). Anastasia Hayes also qualified on the Girls side and will compete on Wednesday.

Mighty Marching Chargers Shine at VMBC Championships -
This past Saturday, your Mighty Marching Chargers completed their final competition of the season, participating in the Virginia Marching Band Cooperative Commonwealth Cup at Liberty University. Performing in unseasonably warm weather, our MMCs capped off their season with their strongest performances yet. In a highly competitive and tightly contested prelims class, the MMCs earned 4th place in class, and 5th overall out of the 21 groups competing at their prelims site.
Following prelims, our MMCs were then announced as one of the 14 finalist bands from the 43 bands who competed across the day and earned a BONUS performance of our show, Serpent! In finals, our MMCs shared a TREMENDOUS performance with the audience, making wonderful adjustments to correct some challenge spots from prelims and combining their energy to provide a memorable run to cap off a fantastic competitive season. Our students earned strong scores across the board, placing 9th overall in finals with a score of 90.975 alongside some other fantastic bands from across Virginia. Congratulations to our MMCs on an incredible competitive season and thank you CHS for your wonderful support of these students throughout the fall!
Boys Soccer Interest Meeting will be held right after school on Tuesday, November 19th in the Cafeteria. Contact Coach Kouakam @jkouakam@fcps.edu if you are unable to attend.
