The Mantua PTA Online Student Directory contains student names, teachers, parent names and email addresses of Mantua ES's families as well as some important school information. The information you provided to the school upon registration of your child(ren) will be used to create our directory.
The majority of parents opt to include their family's information in the directory as it is a great resource for parents, students, and faculty throughout the school year, but we want each family to make that choice for themselves. The Opt Out window ends on October 24th.

Basketball Volunteers Needed
We are in need of multiple volunteers. We currently only have 8 coaches registered and 11 referees. We will need close to 20 more coaches and at least 30 more referees. Without coaches and referees, we obviously can't have a season.
Registration for both positions is open at https://www.mantuabasketball.org/home. No experience is needed for either.
We need volunteers to assist us with player check-in during our player evaluation sessions, listed below.

2023 Run for Rocky
Plans are underway for the 2023 Run for Rocky, one of the PTA's biggest fundraisers of the year. The fundraising period will be October 13-November 3. The PTA hopes to raise $35,000 this year.
The actual Run for Rocky fun run will take place on Friday, October 27 (rain date: Monday, October 30).
All funds raised will support school needs and opportunities, including technology, versatile seating and furniture, STEM kits, the beautification of our school (including support for the gardening committee), licenses for math software, new books, teacher and staff appreciation, the PTA wish fund, community events like the spring dance, additional classroom expenses, learning resources, and staff development. Stay tuned for prize information and details!
Many volunteers will be needed for the October 27 Run for Rocky event and a sign up form will be sent out in October. If you are interested in helping plan the event, please contact emilylearychesnes@gmail.com. Thanks for your interest!

Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt
 Mantua PTA invites our neighbors to safely celebrate fall and enjoy our community with a Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt! The Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt is open to all families in the Mantua neighborhood and Mantua Elementary School boundaries. Please spread the word within your HOA, development, cul de sac or street – we’d love to see many scarecrows!
