Dear Haycock Families,
We hope you and your family had a relaxing spring break. It was great to have our students back on Monday and to hear the many different things they did and saw over our break.
The weekly COVID screening testing that has been happening at Haycock will stop after next week. Our last day of onsite COVID screening testing will be Tuesday, April 19th.
COVID 19 testing continues at various sites throughout Fairfax County. Through the Test to Stay Program, FCPS provides an opportunity for non-vaccinated students identified as close contacts to continue in-person learning. This program is available to any students who meet the eligibility criteria and whose parent/legal guardian has provided consent for their participation.
We are excited to welcome a new member to our Haycock family! Taulia Rose Lancaster was born on April 11 to Caitlin Lancaster and her husband Tod.
April is the month of the military child. Here are some resources in FCPS for military families. Remember to wear purple on April 20 to honor children of military families.
April is also Autism Acceptance month. We honor the unique gifts that our students with Autism bring to our Haycock community.
New Years good wishes to our Theravada Buddhist community! Happy Easter and Happy Passover this weekend, as well.
With appreciation for your partnership,
Dr. Liz Beaty, Principal embeaty@fcps.edu
Ms. Heather Boyd,AP HABoyd@fcps.edu
