Report Cards
Report cards will go home with in-person students on Friday, June 11, the last day of school. Virtual students can pick-up their report cards during laptop drop-off on Friday afternoon.
Clinic Notice
The school health room is reminding parents and guardians that all medication stored in the health room must be picked up no later than the student dismissal time on the last day of school. Medication left in the health room after that time will be discarded. It is school policy that medications must be picked up by the parent or guardian. Medication cannot be sent home with your student.
All K-6 Virginia Run student laptops and chargers (and mifis) will be collected at the end of the school year.
In-person students will turn in their laptops and chargers (and mifis) during school on June 9th. (For those students who attend in person on Thursdays and Fridays only, laptops will be collected Friday morning in the lobby before school.) Please be sure your students have all of their issued equipment with them for turn in that day.
Virtual students are asked to drop off their laptops and chargers and any mifis on June 11th between 2:30 and 4:30 at the school. Bring laptops, chargers and mifis to the Kiss & Ride loop (Door 1) on that day. If you are unable to drop off laptops on June 11, a second collection will take place from 9:00-2:00 on June 16. Virtual students who are using a personal laptop and do not need their Virginia Run laptop to attend class during the last days of school may return their issued equipment to the main office any day during school hours. (NOTE: Laptops for students attending ESY at Poplar Tree will NOT be collected at this time. ESY students will keep them for summer school.) If your laptop or charger is lost, please contact the office and we will send payment instructions. The laptop replacement cost is approximately $472 and chargers cost approximately $25 each, depending on the model you were issued.

End-of-Year Assessment Reports for Families
Students participate in a number of assessments at the end of the school year, and results are shared with families in different ways.
This year, parents will be able to access Standards of Learning (SOL) test scores directly in SIS ParentVUE this summer. Individual test scores will be visible in the student test history by the end of June, and a formal SOL report letter will be posted in ParentVUE by August.
Some test results will be mailed to the parent’s home by the start of next school year. These include report letters for families of:
Other scores are shared by the school or testing organization, such as VKRP, NNAT3 and Advanced Placement (AP) scores from the College Board.
For questions about assessment score reports, contact your student’s school.
