9/14 Class-Specific Supplies Distribution Event

On Monday, Sept. 14th, HMS will be distributing supplies for a select set of classes using a contact-free, drive-through delivery system. The details are as follows:

  • When: Monday, September 14, 2020
  • Time: 8am-3pm
  • Location: HMS Bus Lane (behind the school at door #6)

Families of students with the following classes have supplies set aside for them:

  • Health/PE
  • 3D Art
  • Computers in Art
  • Band
  • Engineering 1 & 2
  • Family and Consumer Science (FACS)
  • Reading 7/8
  • LAP Lit Acc Part

Library Curbside Pickups

Curbside Pickup of Library books and other physical materials will begin on Monday, 9/21! Here are the basic steps:

  • Step 1) Students place a hold on items they'd like through the library catalog.
  • Step 2) A librarian will notify each student by email when their materials are ready and so they can schedule their pickup time. Pickups are divided into 15 minute blocks to help ensure social distancing.
  • Step 3) Pickup at Door 6 at the back of the school each Monday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

If materials cannot be picked up during an available time, email a librarian (cbcarlson1@fcps.edu or kmbrinkman1@fcps.edu) for alternate arrangements.

Still have an old laptop from last year? Don't forget to return it and pick up a new one!

We still have many laptops that have not been picked up. If your student still has not picked up their NEW laptop please stop call the main office from 7:00am-3:30pm to set up an appointment for pick up. Please be sure to return your laptop form last year to your elementary school or Herndon MS if you still have one. 

We ask that student be present to login to laptop with student ID and Password. If student has forgotten password we will reset it.

Mifi Pick Up

For families in need of picking up a MiFi device, you may come to HMS on the following dates/times.

Fri. 9/11: 11am-3pm

Mon. 9/14: 8am-10am

Tues. 9/15: 8am-10am

Wed. 9/16: 10am-12pm

Thurs. 9/17: 10am-12pm

Fri. 9/18: 10am-12pm
