Supplies for 2020
As we prepare for a virtual start, students will need school supplies. A couple additional items were mentioned in our parent coffee that would be good for students to have including optional headphones with a mic (in case a student needs to tune out outside noises for focus) and a small dry erase whiteboard. There will be items from the original list that will be more useful when we return face to face such as folders and binders. Items from sprout kits such as wipes, ziploc bags and kleenex can be used at home while we start virtually. An updated list will be provided soon for those that did not purchase sprout kits.
We will work with the PTA to help coordinate the supply orders from Sprout for curbside pickup. Stay tuned for more information.
Mrs. Lopez, our art teacher, has put together an informational video on preparing for art this year and getting a space ready that will inspire you. Check out Mrs. Lopez' video on getting ready for virtual art and meet her new puppy, Fondue
Computers for Students
Return of FCPS Laptops issued in the Spring
If your child has an FCPS computer that was issued to them in the spring, this will need to be returned to Chesterbrook next Monday or Tuesday of next week. Please drop off FCPS student laptops to Chesterbrook on Monday from 9-2 or Tuesday 9-12. If you cannot drop off during this time, please contact our front office to set up a plan for drop off. All machines need to be returned as soon as possible, so we can prepare for 2020-21 distribution.
School Year 2020-21 Student Laptop Distribution Requests
It is important that every child, K-6, have their own computer for instruction this school year. Will your child need a laptop? Please complete the updated distribution survey, so we can prepare for this process. The survey form will allow parents to enter a request for up to three children in a family. If you have more than three children, please enter an additional survey request. Please enter student laptop request here
