Happy Friday West Potomac!

Thank you all for your support and hard work this week during our first FULL week of virtual learning. Having the opportunity to virtually drop in on classes has truly been a joy. Classes were well attended and students were actively engaged. As you know, today is the last day of 3rd quarter and teachers will begin finalizing report card grades. Please refer the DLP grading information here

As we transition fully into 4th quarter, students have the opportunity to raise their overall final transcript grade by demonstrating mastery in 4th quarter learning opportunities.  So, regardless of their 3rd quarter or semester grades encourage them to KEEP WORKING -  it will pay off in the final marks in June.

Class of 2020 Updates

On Friday, May 1st, all FCPS seniors are invited and encouraged to share their plans for life after high school on social media.  We want to celebrate all future careers, military enlistments, gap year plans, and college acceptances.

Please use #ourFCPS and #CelebrateYourPlan when posting to social media and tag @theWPboard and @WPHSSS on Twitter.

FCPS is narrowing down options for graduation.  Before any final decisions are made, additional community input will be gathered.  Thank you to those who provided input for WP.  The next level of input will be gathered centrally from FCPS to all seniors across the county.
