EAP COVID-19 Resources & More

Dear FCPS Family,

We hope you have been able to stay safe and well during this health crisis involving COVID-19. Our team is continuously focused in providing support for the wellness of you and your family while we work through this difficult time together.

For this month, we would like to share some tips and resources that your household can take advantage of while we follow the guidelines of social distancing, working from home, and most importantly, self-care.

We appreciate the support everyone is continuing to give one another and we look forward to better times ahead when we can work and visit with one another again.

Sincerely,

Staying Healthy & Physically Active

Many are wondering if it is safe to go outside during this pandemic. If you are not sick, you can follow health officials' guidelines such as practice social distancing, avoid touching your face, and washing your hands thoroughly when you return home to stay safe while venturing outdoors.

Tip from our Well Traveled Wellness Challenge: Did you know that morning exercise can help you feel your best all day? Try streaming a cardio session to kick-start your day; check Youtube and your public library online for free workouts.

Our FCPS colleagues are finding ways of exercising at home. Some are even  posting their own workouts to share online. One I saw that was recognized on the news report was from one of our own from Fairfax HS.

Also, many sites are offering free with no obligation online classes.  Here are some offers:
